"I absolutely love both CD's. I first heard about the band on a visit home to PEI last summer. Unfortunately, I was unable to see any of your performances but I did see your performance on Breakfast Television, as my aunt phoned to tell me Daniel was on TV. Congratulations on your success of the band. Hope to see the band venture out to the west coast to perform. Your music would be well accepted."

"WOW! It seems to be the biggest cliche to start this by saying I think I'm your guys biggest fan. I play trumpet, and sing too. I was just wondering why Mark isn't playing in the new CD with Measha. (Dan Warren replaced Mark in early July 2000 - Alan D.) I love your song DRUNK and I want to know the next time you are playing in Summerside again. I love you guys. Keep producing great music - the world needs it. Good Luck with everything. Peace."

"I had the chance to see the Jive Kings at Fredericton's Harvest Jazz & Blues Festival in September and I was blown away. I've always loved jive/swing/big band music, and I was so impressed that I bought "Spoon For A Knife" that night. And then last weekend I heard the band on CBC Radio for an hour or so - it was great to hear different versions of the solos - my favourite is still "That'll Do for Now". And now you have a new CD out ! I'll be looking for it this week. I'm a displaced Islander, and I hope to catch the band next time I'm in PEI - or even better - you could play in Fredericton again sometime soon. Your energy and enthusiam makes the CD one that I listen to over and over again. I look forward to hearing your new CD !"

I really enjoyed your high energy performance - you guys have a great stage presence - and the music was top notch. Really makes me wish I hadn't dropped out of the band program in High School, a hundred years ago... Your music has a cross generational appeal - even my 16 year old daughter enjoyed your performance at the afternoon concert - and we are enjoying your CD which we purchased at the festival (and are anxiously awaiting the release of your new one...). I heard many positive comments regarding your performance at the Blues Tent. It's so gratifying to see this level of talent right here in the Maritimes! Keep up the good work!
